Two killed in pickup-sugar beet truck collision in near Felton, Minn.

Two people were killed late Monday night when a pickup truck collided head-on with a semi hauling sugar beets near Felton, Minn.

The occupants of the 2002 Dodge Dakota pickup, whose identities have not yet been released, died at the scene after the southbound pickup crossed the centerline of Minn. Highway 9, north of Felton in Clay County and struck the northbound sugar beet truck, at 11:13 p.m., the Minnesota State Patrol said in a news release.
