Frost advisories, freeze warnings in effect tonight

Once again tonight there will be scattered spots with freezing temperatures.

The best chance of dropping below 32 degrees will be north and east of Detroit Lakes, where a Freeze Warning is in effect.

The rest of the region will likely have scattered spots with 32-degree temperatures. These areas are under a Frost Advisory.

This fall, our region keeps getting these marginally cold nights with scattered frosts but no widespread killing freeze has happened yet.

In Fargo-Moorhead, the average date of the first frost of fall is Sept. 30 and the record latest first frost was Oct. 24, 1994.
