Roger Allen Strong, Jr, 27, of Cass Lake, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 in Bemidji, MN. He was born April 4, 1988 in Bemidji, MN the son of Terri Pemberton and Roger Strong, Sr.

Roger enjoyed being with his family. He was a very proud father and loved his children deeply. Roger really loved his music and hangin' with his friends. His long time friends were Sadonna Conner, Vinnie Brown and Arlen Littlewolf, all of whom he respected greatly. Roger loved his Godparents Aunty Lori and Uncle Chris very much. He will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him.

The family that he has reunited with are his Grandpa Bunky, Grandmas Agatha and Estelle, cousins; Manda Lane and Leroy III, aunt; Sandra and Rhonda.

He leaves behind his mother and step-father; Terri Pemberton and Richard Benjamin of Cass Lake, his father Roger Strong, Sr. of Redby, his son Styles Carter Strong of Morton, his daughter Jaleah Sioux Grayeagle Strong of Alexandria, brother; Dylan Strong of Bemidji, sisters; Brandi (Dylan) Shank of Williston, ND and Tashia Strong of Redby.

An overnight wake for Roger will begin at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 7th at the Redby Community Center in Redby. A second overnight wake will begin at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, October 8th and continue until his 11:00 a.m. funeral service all being held at the Veterans Memorial Building in Cass Lake. Father Paul Larson will officiate. Helping to lay Roger to rest will be Vinnie Brown, Arlen Littlewolf, Jerrick Pemberton, Dan Dudley, Sr., Brandon 'Bull' Beaulieu and George Strong, Sr. His honorary pallbearers are all his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery at Cass Lake, MN following his service.
