Bemidji man pleads not guilty to burglary, drug charges

BEMIDJI—A Bemidji man has pleaded not guilty to felony burglary and drug charges after he was apprehended with women's clothing and methamphetamine this summer.

John Iverson, 35, was arrested June 24 near a residence on the 1100 block of Maurice Avenue. A Bemidji Police officer observed Iverson exit the backyard of the residence at about 3 a.m. Following a foot pursuit, Iverson's backpack was searched revealing a tablet, compact discs, women's clothing and undergarments. Two methamphetamine pipes were located on Iverson's person.
