AREA PREP VOLLEYBALL: Blackduck beats Red Lake in five

RED LAKE — Blackduck topped Red Lake in five sets on Tuesday,

The Warriors (3-3) won the first set 30-28 and dropped the second 22-25 before winning set three 25-23.

However, the wheels came off for Red Lake in the final two sets, as the Drakes won convincingly in set four, 25-8, and took set five 15-8.

The Warriors return to action Thursday at Northome/Kelliher while the Drakes will wait until Friday for their next match at Pine River-Backus.
