Onondaga Nation invests $10 million in games to promote lacrosse, honor culture

ONONDAGA NATION -- The 2015 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championship will crown a winner Sunday afternoon, but for the Onondaga Nation, hosting the games was about more than gold medals.

The Onondaga Nation spent more than $10 million to bring the games home to the sport's birthplace, a cost that included the construction of a new arena.
