Cass Lake man pleads not guilty to meth charge

CASS LAKE -- One of three Cass Lake men charged with felony drug possession after law enforcement seized approximately a quarter-pound of methamphetamine in July has pleaded not guilty in Cass County District Court.

Allen Fairbanks, 28, Joshua Fairbanks, 26, and Spencer Fairbanks, 24, were arrested on drug and weapon related charges when Leech Lake Tribal Police found methamphetamine and firearms during execution of a search warrant at approximately 5:25 a.m. on July 10 on the 100 block of Second Street Northeast in Cass Lake. Allen Fairbanks pleaded not guilty Aug. 31 to felony first-degree drug possession. His next court date is scheduled for Sept. 28.
