Turnovers help Bagley beat Blackduck

BLACKDUCK — Bagley’s second-half adjustments and Blackduck’s turnovers turned out to be the difference Friday night as the Flyers topped the Drakes 28-20.

At first, the game looked to be all Blackduck (1-4) when senior running back Tanner Depew broke away for a 61-yard touchdown on the first play of the game.

“Tanner’s been doing a good job for us in the backfield,” Blackduck coach Jeff Volk said. “I have to give the offensive line credit, too. They did a heck of a job tonight up front making holes for Tanner to run through, and he’s got that extra gear and if he gets out in the open it’s nice to let him go.”
