Oil Production Increasing on Tribal Lands

One by one oil rigs have gone away as oil prices dropped on the market. While the state's oil production dropped in July, the Fort Berthold Reservation is doing more than just maintaining their oil production.

The reservation had an increase of 11,000 barrels per day, permitting was up on all lands on the reservation and they even added two drilling rigs. One tenth of the wells in the state are located on Fort Berthold but the reservation.
