Bi-CAP receives $864,000 YouthBuild grant
BEMIDJI—Bi-County Community Action Programs (Bi-CAP) in Bemidji has been awarded $864,000 from the U.S. Labor Department for its YouthBuild program.
The grant is part of $76 million awarded nationwide to help fund 72 YouthBuild programs in 31 states, the District of Columbia and the Ute Mountain Ute Tribal Nation, according to a release.
A total of 22 recipients in this round of funding have been selected for the first time. Bi-CAP has been awarded grants previously. The other Minnesota grant, $1 million, was awarded to the Tree Trust program in St. Louis Park.
