Former Swinomish officer charged with theft of tribal funds

SEATTLE (AP) - A former Swinomish Tribal employee has been charged in federal court with wire fraud and theft of tribal funds.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Seattle says Robert Scott Miller of La Conner, Washington, was the tribe's Fish and Game Enforcement Officer for 18 years. He was charged last week with nine counts of wire fraud and two counts of theft.
