Susan Marie Stevens, 49, of Bagley, MN, died on September 8, 2015 at Sanford Fargo Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rice Lake Community Center in Rice Lake, MN. A wake will begin on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rice Lake Community Center. Interment will be at St. Phillip's Cemetery in Rice Lake, MN. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with the arrangements.

She was born at home in Bagley, Minnesota, the daughter of Darwin and Dorothy (Auginaush) Stevens. She attended Bagley and White Earth Schools. Susan loved playing cards, dancing, the casino (penny change geisha), raising and spending time with her grandchildren. She was always genuinely happy and easy-going. Susan always made people laugh, especially with her prankster ways. She was truly a loving and caring person.

She is survived by her significant other, Curt Holmes; the father of her children, Nolan Hvezda; her daughters, Sunshine Hvezda, Tiffany Hvezda, LaVina Hvezda, Ada Hvezda, and Vickie Hvezda; her sisters, Barbara (Bam) Stevens, Star Stevens, and Lori (Donny) Fairbanks; her brothers, John Stevens, Wayne (Lori) Stevens, and Gordon (Sherry) Stevens; and 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Darwin and Dorothy Stevens; her daughter, Bambi (Liz) Hvezda; and her grandparents.
