Roofing Work Resumes at Stadium

North St. Paul, Minnesota (September 10, 2015) – Berwald Roofing and Sheet Metal Company issued this statement today as its staff prepares to resume work on the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis:

“It is with heavy hearts that Berwald Roofing staff will resume construction tomorrow Friday, September 11th on the US Bank Stadium.

After a review of the roofing conditions, Berwald Roofing, in cooperation with Mortenson Construction and the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority, has been cleared to continue installing the stadium’s roofing system.

The Minnesota Vikings recently displayed a sticker of Jeramie Gruber’s initials to the back of their helmets. In a similar gesture, Berwald Roofing employees will don hard hats that feature a decal in memory of their colleague and friend.

The decals read “Forever Our Brother,” and include images of a bear, fish and bow hunter in celebration of Jeramie’s love of the outdoors. An image of the decal is attached to this statement.
