Bagley hangs on to ball, lead, to beat Walker-Hackensack-Akeley 8-6

BAGLEY — The wet football was tough to hang on to Friday night at the Bagley High School Sports Complex.

But more importantly, the Flyers hung onto the lead, taking their home opener 8-6 over Walker-Hackensack-Akeley.

“We played the whole game. We played four full quarters,” Flyers coach Brandon Schwegel said. “I’m happy about that and just a lot of guys contributing and making an impact in the game. A lot of guys stepped up.”
