PGA TOUR LIVE Continues Exclusive FedExCup Playoffs Coverage

PGA TOUR’s New Mobile App and First OTT Subscription Service is the Only Place to Watch 18-Hole Broadcasts Featuring FedExCup Points Leaders Friday and Saturday from the Deutsche Bank Championship

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (September 2, 2015) – Fans can watch exclusive 18-hole coverage of new FedExCup points leader Jason Day, No. 2 Jordan Spieth and No. 3 Bubba Watson playing together as exclusive coverage of the FedExCup Playoffs continues from the Deutsche Bank Championship on PGA TOUR LIVE, the TOUR’s new mobile app and first OTT subscription service.

With his victory Sunday at The Barclays, Day has supplanted Spieth as the points leader after the first of the four Playoff tournaments. Next up is the Deutsche Bank Championship, which begins Friday at TPC Boston. PGA TOUR LIVE coverage begins at 8:30 a.m. ET with action from the first hole and practice area before the first featured group of world No. 1 Rory McIlroy (15th in points), Hideki Matsuyama (14) and Kevin Kisner (13) goes off at 9:06 a.m. The Day-Spieth-Watson group tees off at 9:30 a.m.

Saturday’s second-round coverage on PGA TOUR LIVE again begins at 8:30 a.m. ET, leading into the featured groups of Danny Lee (10), Jim Furyk (11) and Patrick Reed (12) at 9:18 a.m. followed at 9:30 a.m. by Henrik Stenson (4), Dustin Johnson (6) and Zach Johnson (5).

Following the featured groups, the broadcast will switch to featured hole coverage at 3 p.m.: the 161-yard par 3 16th and 530-yard par-5 18th.

The PGA TOUR LIVE broadcast on Sunday and Monday begins at 8:30 a.m. ET and will continue throughout the afternoon with featured hole coverage from the 16th, 18th and drivable 298-yard, par-4 4th.

As the Playoffs are trimmed from 100 players at the Deutsche Bank Championship to 70 at the BMW Championship at Conway Farms Golf Club in Chicago (Sept. 17-20) and the final 30 for the TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta (Sept. 24-27), fans can access PGA TOUR LIVE’s extensive coverage through their iPhone, iPad and desktop/laptop platforms (at PGATOURLIVE.COM) and join the hundreds of thousands who have downloaded the user-friendly mobile app. PGA TOUR LIVE is broadcasting nearly 140 hours of exclusive coverage throughout the Playoffs.

Coverage from the BMW Championship will include featured groups from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. ET Thursday and Friday, September 17-18, and featured holes from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. Weekend coverage of featured holes runs from 8:15 a.m.-5:45 p.m. For the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola, PGA TOUR LIVE will provide a special pregame show beginning at 10:30 a.m. Thursday and Friday, September 24-25, followed by featured group coverage until 1 p.m. before switching to featured hole coverage through 6 p.m. Saturday’s featured hole coverage is scheduled for 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and Sunday’s hole coverage is from noon until 6 p.m., when the TOUR Championship and the FedExCup champions are expected to be crowned.

PGA TOUR LIVE was developed in partnership with MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM). Hosting the coverage are veteran broadcasters John Swantek, Brian Katrek, Grant Boone and Ned Michaels. They will be joined by a team of former PGA TOUR regulars as on-course analysts: Bill Kratzert, Craig Perks, Phil Blackmar, Aaron Oberholser, John Maggines, Mark Carnevale, Phil Tataurangui and Gary Christian.

PGA TOUR LIVE currently is available in the United States, Canada, Ireland, Australia and the United Kingdom. Other markets will follow. The subscription rate is $4.99 per month from pgatourlive.com or the Apple App Store. It will become available on Android and other platforms at a later date.
