Business council refers Tex Hall situation to U.S. attorney's office

Former Three Affiliated Tribes chairman Tex Hall’s reputation remains entangled with a former Bakken truck operator facing federal charges of murder for hire, and the business council on Wednesday referred the issue to the U.S. attorney's office for review and possible action.

The vote was the result of pressure from Citizens for Change on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation, which said the council should call for a review based upon a year-old special investigation into Hall’s financial dealings.
