Red Crow Community College fire determined to be arson

Lethbridge – It was a fire that destroyed decades of records and memories – some good, many terrible.

Originally thought to be electrical in origin, last month’s fire that gutted Red Crow Community College is now the focus of an arson investigation. After two weeks of investigation, the office of the Fire Commissioner determined the fire was intentionally set. Members of the Blood Tribe were filled with mixed emotions when the college, a former residential school, was destroyed August. 14. Blood Tribe Police Staff Sergeant Joseph Many Fingers updated the investigation on Wednesday.
