New tribal police department ready for patrols

FLAFLANDREAU For the past 3 months the Flandreau Santee Sioux tribe has been building a police force from the ground up.

In June they announce that they were dissolving the tribe's law enforcement partnership with the City of Flandreau.

The agreement ends at midnight on Friday.
