BEMIDJI AREA ARTS ENDOWMENT PRESENTS OOH LA LA FOR THE ARTS FUNDRAISER

Bemidji, MN – September 1, 2015 – The Bemidji Area Arts Endowment (BAAE), a component fund of Northwest Minnesota Foundation (NMF), proudly presents the first annual Ooh La La for the Arts on Sunday, October 4, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. – at Sparkling Waters restaurant, 824 Paul Bunyan Drive, Bemidji.

The public is invited to join BAAE for an evening of food, fun and entertainment to celebrate the arts in Bemidji. The event’s proceeds will fund the general endowment, which provides $15,000 - $20,000 in grants to local arts organizations each year.

Tickets are limited, but available for purchase online at http://www.nwmf.org under upcoming events. Ticket prices are $50 per person ($40 tax deductible). The evening of fun includes a banquet of hors d’oeuvres, live music, cash bar and silent auction of outstanding original works created by talented local artists. The Bemidji Area Arts Endowment (BAAE), established in 1998, enables individuals, families, businesses and organizations to give financial gifts to the arts. BAAE Funds are conservatively managed and permanent. Fund earnings are distributed in accordance with the wishes of the donor.

The Northwest Minnesota Foundation is a public, charitable foundation serving 12 counties of Northwest Minnesota by investing resources, facilitating collaboration and promoting philanthropy.
