Good racing on final day of Bemidji Speedway

BEMIDJI — The Bemidji Speedway points season came to an end Sunday night, with track championships held for each of eight classes of cars.

With many points battles to close to call prior to race time the tension was high both in the pits and for the fans in the stands. Clean sweeps by Tim Jackson in the Wissota Midwest Modifieds and Ken Hron in the Wissota A Modifieds highlighted the racing.

It was a beautiful warm and humid night for racing with more than 70 cars on hand to finish the regular season of racing. The kids once again got on track during intermission with more than 20 of them on track in their homemade box car racers.
