Statement from Berwald Roofing following the death of one of its employees
North St. Paul, Minnesota (August 27, 2015) – Today Berwald Roofing and Sheet Metal Company issued this statement following the death of one of its employees and injury of another at the US Bank Stadium construction project in Minneapolis:
“One of our employees injured at the stadium work site early yesterday morning has been released from the Hennepin County Medical Center. He suffered a deep cut on his leg, requiring 48 stitches and staples.
Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Berwald employee Jeramie Gruber of Northfield, and our entire staff continues to grieve his loss.
Our company is fully committed to cooperate with investigators as they determine the cause of the incident. The safety of employees is our highest priority on all of our projects.”
