About Environmental Action for Children's Health
This project reduces your home's indoor allergens to limit your child's asthma symptoms.
Would my child qualify?
To qualify for this program a family needs to:
Have a child or children with poorly controlled asthma
diagnosed by a physician
Live on the Red Lake Reservation
Have an in-home assessment and use the products provided
What we can do for you...
If you qualify, allergen reducing products to improve your child's asthma are made available at no cost to you. After a one-hour in-home assessment, possible resources available include:
HEPA air cleaner
Allergen vacuum
Bed and pillow encasements
Dehumidifier
HEPA air filters (gas-forced air furnace)
Fire extinguisher
Integrated pest management
Carbon monoxide detector
Smoke detector
