4 shot in Brooklyn Center home invasion early Wednesday

Four people were shot inside a house in Brooklyn Center early Wednesday in what police are calling a home invasion.

Police were called to the 5000 block of Drew Avenue N. about 3:15 a.m. When they arrived they found three adult men and one woman with gunshot wounds. The victims were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive their injuries, said Cmdr. Tony Gruenig.

Three hours after the shooting, police were still looking for four adult males believed responsible for the shootings. K-9 dogs were brought into the neighborhood, but were unable to track the suspects, Gruenig said.
