Delores Brown's remains possibly found in water near B.C.'s Gulf Islands

RCMP have spoken to the family of Delores Brown, 19, who has been missing since July 27, as they wait for a body found in the waters near B.C.'s Gulf Islands to be identified.

"Investigators have met with Delores' family to prepare them for the possibility that these remains are that of their loved one," said Cpl. Darren Lagan, of the Island District RCMP.

The body was recovered from water just east of Norway Island on Wednesday evening, after kayakers reported finding human remains.
