Bailey faces new charges

TRAVERSE CITY — A new sex crimes case against Derek Bailey accuses the former Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians tribal council member of being a "sexually delinquent person."

Grand Traverse County prosecutors today charged Bailey, 42, with two additional counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, a charge he already faces in Leelanau County. They also charged Bailey with gross indecency between a male and female by a sexually delinquent person.
