Red Crow College destroyed by fire

CARDSTON, Alta. -- A fire on a southern Alberta reserve has destroyed a college that started out as a residential school.

Flames engulfed the Red Crow College building early Friday, but there were few details from Blood Tribe emergency officials.

The building near Cardston was the former St. Mary Residential School from 1926 to 1975. The college was founded in 1986 as an adult education centre.
