Attawapiskat's Theresa Spence dropped from second ballot in NAN election

Attawapiskat Chief Theresa Spence is resigning as chief of the Attawapiskat First Nation after five years in the job.

Spence stepped aside as chief of her community to run as deputy grand chief of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation. However, she was dropped from the second ballot after only receiving three votes.
