GOSHEN — No one stood up at the Goshen Community Schools board meeting Monday, Aug. 10, when the president asked for public comment.
“Going once. Going twice,” Cathie Cripe offered, as many in the room sighed with relief.
It was the first time in more than two months that a member of the public did not address the board about the Redskins mascot, a topic that had divided the community and compelled hundreds to speak at meetings or write letters to the board.
