Man convicted of 2011 murder on Jemez Pueblo

A jury announced their verdict Friday afternoon in the case.

The FBI said Yepa brutally assaulted Lynnette Becenti on the Jemez Pueblo in December 2011. She was found dead at Yepa's home.

Throughout the trial, the defense claimed Yepa was asleep during Becenti's killing and that another person killed her.
