Family wants independent Crown at inquest of Winnipeg police fatal shooting of Aboriginal man

It’s been more than seven years since Craig McDougall was fatally shot by Winnipeg police in the front yard of his hiome.

After years of rumours and concerns, an inquest into this death is preparing to start.

But how that inquest will be handled has yet to be determined.
