Beltrami County Sheriff's deputy hit by suspect's vehicle after chase
ALASKA TOWNSHIP -- A pursuit on the Red Lake Reservation Friday evening ended when a Beltrami County Sheriff's deputy was hit by the suspect vehicle.
Red Lake Reservation authorities were chasing a 2015 Ford Focus about 5:30 p.m. stemming from a "domestic call," according to a Minnesota State Patrol incident report.
Soon, Beltrami County and the State Patrol authorities were assisting in the pursuit.
Beltrami County authorities performed a PIT maneuver in which the squad car runs into a back corner of the suspect car, causing it to turn around and ideally stop.
