RED LAKE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY "COPS AND BOBBERS"

The Red Lake Department of Public Safety will hold its 3rd annual "COPS AND BOBBERS" event at Fuller Lake on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. The event is scheduled from 10am until 2pm and is for children ages 6-12 years old. Free fishing rods and tackle will be provided to all children who show up and fishing boats will be provided for the kids to fish in and guided by Red Lake Law Enforcement Officers, DNR staff and local volunteers.

This event is an excellent opportunity for children and law enforcement alike to interact and enjoy some fishing in a positive and fun atmosphere! Participants will also be provided with a bagged lunch sponsored by the Red Lake Boys and Girls Club.

The first two events was a great success and the Red Lake Department of Public Safety would like to thank the following area businesses that made the event possible this year with generous contributions. Special thanks go to the Red lake donation committee, Red Lake Gaming, Red Lake Builders, Red Lake Schools, Earth Works, Boys and Girls Club and Old Dutch Company and the Red Lake DNR.
