Chickasaw Nation Announces General Election Results
Chickasaw Nation Election Secretary Rita Loder today announced results of the Chickasaw Nation general election.
Pontotoc District Seat 1 incumbent legislator Toby Perkins of Ada received 2,516 votes to defeat challengers Mary Holden-Nordwall of Ada, who received 627 votes and Oscar W. Gore of Ada, who received 300 votes.
Pickens District Seat 1 incumbent David Woerz of Ardmore received 1,486 votes to defeat challenger Mike Watson of Ardmore, who received 677 votes.
Supreme Court Seat 2 challenger Linda English Weeks of Norman received 5,138 votes to defeat incumbent Barbara Anne Smith of Newcastle, who received 2,356 votes
Elected officials will take the oath of office Wednesday, Oct. 1.

Seat 1 Toby Perkins, Ada (Incumbent) – 2,516 votes – 73 percent
Seat 1 Mary Holden-Nordwall – 627 votes – 18 percent
Seat 1 Oscar W. Gore – 300 votes - 9 percent
Pickens District
Seat 1 David Woerz, Ardmore (Incumbent) – 1,486 – 69 percent
Seat 1 Mike Watson, Ardmore – 677 votes – 31 percent
Supreme Court:
Seat 2 Linda English Weeks, Norman – 5,138 votes – 69 percent
Seat 2 Barbara Anne Smith, Newcastle – 2,356 votes – 31 percent (Incumbent)
