1 dead, 1 wounded in north Minneapolis shooting

A double shooting in north Minneapolis early Thursday left one man dead and another seriously wounded.

Minneapolis police responded to a report of shooting on the 2300 block of Thomas Avenue N., shortly after 2:30 a.m., authorities said.

When they arrived, officers found one man dead and another “with serious injuries,” according to a news release. That man was taken by ambulance to North Memorial Medical Center.
