Traffic laws may be different on Indian reservations

With a summer heat wave building on central Montana’s doorstep, and the Fourth of July weekend only a week away, many people are likely planning a trip the cool mountain oasis of Glacier National Park.

No matter where you are coming from or what route you chose to get there, any motorist wishing to access Glacier National Park from the east side of the Continental Divide must at some point pass through the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.
