ST. PAUL -- One former and two current members of the Minnesota National Guard were indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury as part of what prosecutors say was a widespread recruiting kickback scheme that netted tens of millions of dollars in ill-gotten bonuses.
Those charged were Lt. Timothy Stafford and Spc. Terry Wosmek — both current Guard members — and former member Quinton Jones, a Guard spokesman said.
All are accused of wire fraud. Wosmek and Jones each face four counts; Stafford faces 25.
