Second man sentenced for fish house thefts

BEMIDJI—A Bemidji man connected to thefts from fish houses in February was sentenced to jail time in Beltrami County District Court.

Ryan Gregerson, 26, was convicted of felony third-degree aiding and abetting burglary May 26. He was sentenced to 52 days in the Beltrami County Jail and credited with 35 days time served. Gregerson has been placed on five years supervised probation and must pay a $1,000 fine and $423 in restitution. He pleaded guilty to the charge in March through a Norgaard plea in which he does not admit guilt but believes the state has sufficient evidence to support a conviction.
