Comanche Nation Emergency Management Efforts Continue to Battle Floods

LAWTON, OKLAHOMA — The Comanche Nation Emergency Management Team is continuing their effort to help those affected by the flooding in area communities.

They are issuing sandbags, and through the Red Cross, has opened the Cahoma Building in Cache as a shelter for flood victims in the Cache and Indiahoma communities. The Comanche Nation Community Center in Walters is on standby as a shelter for the Walters and Temple communities.
