ROAD CONSTRUCTION - CITY OF BEMIDJI

The City of Bemidji will be starting the 2015 Street Renewal Project on Monday, April 27, 2015.

The streets included are: Sherman Drive from Lake Avenue to the end; White Birch Lane from Sherman Drive to Elliot Road;

Piper Drive from Sherman Drive to Elliot Road

Normal working hours for this project will be from 7am to 7pm, Monday through Friday and some Saturdays. The majority of the project area will remain passable to residents living on the roads listed above and emergency vehicles throughout the project. However, the roads will be closed to thru traffic.

The completion date for this project is June 30, 2015. During the construction project, please contact the City of Bemidji or Bemidji Bituminous Inc. if you have any questions about the construction project. MNDOT - Highway 197 Project from 23rd Avenue to Hannah Avenue in Bemidji begins April 15

Motorists on Highway 197 in the city of Bemidji will experience daytime lane closures beginning April 15 as crews begin work along the eastbound lanes of the highway. Minimal delays should be expected. Crews will be replacing and installing pedestrian curb ramps, as well as installing APS signal enhancements.

IF YOU ARE TRAVELING SOUTH: Lane closures on Highway 371 between Baxter, Pine River begin April 20

BAXTER, Minn. - Motorists on Highway 371 between Baxter and Pine River will encounter lane closures, work crews and possible delays as segments of the road are intermittently reduced to a single lane beginning Monday, April 20. The lane closures will occur from sunrise to sunset through April 30 while crews seal cracks in the pavement.
