Arrest And Possible Connection To Bemidji Murder

Twenty-five year old Brian Jourdain was arrested Saturday and is currently being held in the Beltrami County Jail in Bemidji on a charge of 2nd Degree Murder. However, authorities aren't commenting yet on whether his arrest is connected to the murder of Krista Fisherman. And court records won't be available to confirm the possible connection until Monday.

According to Police they found Krista Fisherman lying on the the street at 7:12 Friday night on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue in Bemidji.

Police say when officers and emergency medical personnel arrived they discovered a female whom appeared to have been stabbed numerous times

Emergency personnel worked diligently to stop the bleeding and continued the efforts during transport by the Bemidji Ambulance service to the Sanford Medical Center.

At the Sanford Medical Center the female was identified as Krista Fisherman, age 35, of Redby, MN. Ms. Fisherman was pronounced deceased.

The case is being investigated as a homicide and remains under investigation by the Bemidji Police Department, Minnesota BCA and the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office.
