Red Lake Lady Warriors go to 10-1 with 107-27 win over Cass Lake - P10

Ninth Grader Alexis Desjarlait scores 43 in her best game ever

RED LAKE, MN – Five Red Lake Lady Warriors were in double figures on Friday, January 9, 2015 when they hosted the Cass Lake Panthers, and 9th grader Alexis Desjarlait had her best game ever, scoring 43 points on her own.

The Lady Warriors jumped out to an early lead at 19-4 at about the 12-minute mark, and with 7 minutes remaining in the first half, led 29-11.

Red Lake scored 27 more to Cass Lake's 6 points to lead at the half 56-15.

The Lady Warriors scored 51 more points in the second half to Cass Lake's 12, as Red Lake cruised to a 107-27 win in front of a packed house.

Alexis Desjarlait led all scorers with 43 points-26 in the first half-followed by Grace White, Tatianna McClain and Averi Holthusen all hitting 15, and Samantha Roy netting 14.

Nicole Fairbanks and Antonio Archebault eath had 6 for Cass Lake.

Red Lake defeated the Lady Panthers in Cass Lake in December 75-34.

They are now 10-1 on the season, with their only loss to Mountain Iron-Buhl.

The Lady Warriors will host Mahnomen on Monday, December 12, 2014 in a Girls/Boys double-header, and Fond du Lac Ojibwe on Friday, December 16th. The game between Red Lake County Central was postponed on January 8th because of the weather and will be made up at a different date.
