School Board Members and District Superintendent: Eager to serve and support Red Lake School District

Hello, I would like to introduce myself. I am Anne Lundquist, superintendent of schools at Red Lake. I began my service to the district last summer, and part of my role as school leader, I feel it important to be well-acquainted with the perspectives of family and community members. In order achieve this end and increase the flow of information between the public schools and Red Lake Nation, I will provide periodic updates following our regular monthly meetings in the form of news features here in the Red Lake Nation News.

Also, as most of you know, your six school board members are also eager to hear from you regarding your perspective on various aspects of school programs and services. The board members contact information is listed on the district's website at http://redlake.k12.mn.us/District/1128-School-Board.html. Meetings are held in public, on a monthly basis, on the third Wednesday of each month, beginning at 3:00 pm. In each of the school buildings on a rotating basis. Agendas for each of the meetings are posted in the school buildings and district office. You are welcome to address the board during the public comments section of the agenda, or if you prefer, you may provide a written statements detailing issues or concerns to board members.

It is a privilege to have the opportunity to provide periodic updates in my service to Red Lake Schools. If you have questions or would like to visit with me personally, feel free to drop by the district office, located on the east end of the High School complex, or give me a call at 679-3353, extension 1001.
