Red Cross Helping Nine Families After Fire in Cloquet

DULUTH, MINN, December 11, 2014 - Local Red Cross volunteers are stepping up again, helping nine families after a multi-unit fire in Cloquet today, providing for their immediate needs, such as shelter, seasonal clothing, food and emotional support.

"Thanks to our incredible volunteers and generous donors, Red Crossers in Minnesota responded to more than 50 fires, helping more than 70 people in just the last six weeks," said Dan Williams, Executive Director of the American Red Cross serving Northern Minnesota.
