Bemidji man enters guilty plea to child porn charge

BEMIDJI -- A Bemidji man charged with felony possession of pornography entered a guilty plea in Beltrami County District Court on Monday.

Max Arnett Lussier, 55, was arrested in October after images of children engaged in sexual acts were traced to his computer IP address. He is charged with one count of possession of pornographic work involving minors.

During execution of a search warrant, Lussier told law enforcement they would find the information they were looking for on one of three computers in his apartment. Downloaded images included video clips of adult males engaging in sexual acts with prepubescent females.

Possession of pornographic work involving minors carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $5,000 fine. Lussier is scheduled for sentencing in Beltrami County District Court on Feb. 17.
