Red Cross Helping 24 People Following Apartment Fire in Eveleth, MN

Minneapolis, Minn., September 11, 2014 — The American Red Cross is helping 24 people, including 10 adults and 14 children, after a fire on the 300 block of 15th Ave., W. in Eveleth, MN, on Thursday morning. The Red Cross provides emergency relief, such as shelter, clothing, food, health services, and emotional support, to those affected by disaster.

The Red Cross depends on financial donations to help people affected by disasters both big and small. To donate, visit redcross.org/northmn or call 1-800-RED-CROSS. People can also text the word “REDCROSS” to 90999 to make a $10 donation. Contributions also can be sent to the American Red Cross Northern Minnesota Region, 1201 West River Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55454.
