CCHF's Twila Brase Honored with Award for Achievements in Health Freedom

ST. PAUL, Minn.—Twila Brase, president and co-founder of Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom (CCHF, http://www.cchfreedom.org), a Minnesota-based national organization dedicated to preserving patient-centered health care and protecting patient and privacy rights, was honored this past weekend at the Sacred Fire of Liberty Gala Celebration in Cambridge, Md. for her achievements in health freedom.

Brase was honored with several other leaders from around the world in the fields of nutrition science, integrative medicine and health freedom.

“I was honored to be included in such great company for the Sacred Fire of Liberty Gala,” Brase said. “Like many of my fellow honorees, we at CCHF work tirelessly to educate the public on their health freedom options in the areas of crucial matters such as government health care and patient privacy. It’s encouraging when the importance of health freedom choices and keeping our private medical data private is recognized by society at large.”

The gala featured keynote speaker Jim Angle, Fox News’ Chief National Correspondent, as well as addresses from Fox News contributors Bay Buchanan, former Treasurer of the United States; Kate Obenshain, Vice President of the Young Americas Foundation; and Tammy Bruce, New York Times best-selling author and talk show host. Also speaking at the event were Norm Singleton, Vice President of Policy for the Campaign for Liberty, and Bert Schwitters, independent researcher and industry consultant for De Facto Publications.

The event, held Sept. 5-6 at the Hyatt Regency Resort, Spa and Marina, set the stage for stirring speeches from prominent national leaders who are fighting to reclaim the American Republic. The gala marked the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Emord & Associates, one of the nation’s leading constitutional and administrative law firms with offices in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Arizona.
