Apply Now for "Green Business in Indian Country Award"

The deadline for the "Green Business in Indian Country Start-Up Award" competition is fast approaching - September 25, 2014 . It is sponsored by Trees, Water & People [ http://www.treeswaterpeople.org/ ] in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Trees, Water & People's Tribal Renewable Energy Program anticipates some great ideas for green businesses -- solar technologies, Indigenous agriculture, earth-based housing, and anything that respects and protects the earth. The winner of this year's award will receive up to $40,000 in start-up cash and technical assistance to help an aspiring Native entrepreneur get a jumpstart.

Deadline for draft applications and requests for an entrepreneur mentor is September, 5, 2014. Mentors can help you develop your application to make the best presentation for your idea. Final drafts are due no later than 5 p.m. MDT, September 25, 2014.
