Treat yourself to a Blizzard® for children

Nationwide ‘Miracle Treat Day’ set for Aug. 14

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. / FARGO, N.D. – The ninth annual Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day is set for Thursday, Aug. 14, at area Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill locations. Participating locations will donate $1 or more of the proceeds from the day’s Blizzard® sales and Blizzard® coupon sales to Children’s Miracle Network benefitting Sanford Children’s.

The public is invited to stop by local Dairy Queen or DQ Grill and Chill locations and order a Blizzard®, which in turn will benefit local sick and injured children. Miracle Treat Day is an opportunity for the public to savor a sweet treat while supporting Sanford Children’s Hospitals in both Fargo and Sioux Falls, each region’s only Children’s Miracle Network hospital.

More than $217,000 was raised in 2013 for Sanford Children’s Hospitals in Sioux Falls and Fargo. Since 1984, Dairy Queen has raised more than $100 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across North America – making it one of the top-five contributors to the charity.
