POSITION OBJECTIVES

Under the general supervision of the General Manager is responsible to assist with computer hardware and software needs for Seven Clans Casinos.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists with the coordination of purchases, installation and operation of computer software and hardware, telephone and other communication systems.

Installs computer software and hardware. Troubleshoots, identifies and repairs any problems and makes necessary changes to system.

Responsible for confidentiality on computer information systems and reliable back-ups to prevent loss of information.

Confers with associates involved with projects to ensure cooperation and further define nature of project to assist meeting all needs.

Contracts with management specialists, technical personnel or vendors to assist with problem solving.

Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production malfunction and maintenance to ascertain costs and plan operating changes.

Coordinates needs with individual departments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Two-year certificate from college or technical school required with a major in Information Systems or equivalent with two years related experience preferred with demonstrated abilities in providing support to end-users. Available on-call when needed.
