The 5th Annual National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Induction Banquet was held in the mini-theatre at the Red Lake Middle School on Thursday May 22, 2014.
The NJHS is a national organization that emphases the traits of leadership, character, scholarship, service, and citizenship. To qualify for the honor society members had to have a grade point average of 3.0, an attendance rate of at least 90%, and no more than 1 discipline referrals throughout the year. They also need to display, the character worthy of any role model.
Being a part of the society it is truly an honor, it is meant to reward the efforts of hard work, dedication, and commitment.
